If you're like most sailors, the question you undoubtedly ask is, "How can I enjoy sailing a new yacht, whilst keeping my costs to a minimum?" SailTime has the practical solution that puts boat ownership within your reach.

We guarantee a monthly payment of between 4-6% per annum of your capital investment in the boat.
We'll put 7 responsible SailTime members onboard. They will all be fully qualified sailors.
It is usually the same 7 members who sail your boat. It isn't treated like a charter boat. Members feel a pride of ownership as they are coming back each month to the same boat. In fact, the boats that have been in our programme since our inception in 2001 still look and sail like new.
We'll pay the marina fees, the maintenance, and insurance on your boat.
We'll professionally clean your boat monthly and keep all the systems operating like new. When you step on board, it's ready and waiting to go.
You can sail at weekends, during the week, overnight, for the day or just for a few hours - whenever you like.
As a SailTime owner-member, you can also take advantage of SailTime Plus ensuring you can use boats at all our SailTime locations.

SailTime makes boat ownership easy

We hold your hand through the process of purchasing and specifying a brand new yacht. We work with you in reviewing the equipment onboard your boat ensuring it meets the discerning high quality we incorporate as standard. When the boat is delivered, it is entered into SailTime's professional yacht management programme. You will then be able to enjoy worry and expense free sailing in your local sailing area. SailTime takes care of all the insurance, berthing, annual haul-outs, maintenance and operating expenses for up to five years. On top of this we give you a guaranteed monthly income that you can apply toward your marine mortgage.

Buy a yacht or buy a sailing boat share?

SailTime will place only well trained, responsible sailors onboard your boat. With charter, rental and other programmes many different people use your boat and do not necessarily care for it as if it was their own. In the SailTime programme, experienced SailTime members will be the only ones using your yacht. In addition, your boat will be professionally maintained under our high quality yacht maintenance regimen. Furthermore, our unique SailTime E-ttendant technology helps us to maintain the boats in real time, whilst our SailTime Scheduler ensures that you enjoy easy, accountable and equitable sharing when planning your sailing calendar.

We keep the boats in SailTime from three years to five years. At the end of the term of the agreement you may decide to keep your boat, sell it, or trade it in for a new one and start a new agreement to continue sailing with SailTime. Speak with your local base manager for more details.
